My love of that genre helped me get into Japanese to begin with. I think pretty much everyone agrees the best DRPGs released in English on Vita are Dungeon Travelers 2 (skip the first one), Demon Gaze 2 (first is also good), and finally Stranger of Sword City Revisited (make sure it's the Revisited version, this is not the same as the earlier version also on Steam). If you can do Japanese get which is not only cheap, but includes a free copy of Stranger of Sword City Revisited.
