The shows nuance has faded and formerly complex notions have been simplified to an extent, and that led to a surprisingly straightforward plot this year. But I think thats honestly more or less what it needed now. Finale, and to an extent the season in full, reminded me a lot of a weird mix between MGS4, Fight Club, and... Voltaire?
