I don't think it is unreasonable to think a marked post you intend to moderate that you aren't looking at the lead up post literally quoted above it. I mean, I have won many appeals in the past system by pointing out posts way beforehand I was responding to, but I have never seen a mod not take into account the post literally quoted in the post.
