Anyways, I feel like the reason is because you can know somebody is a troll(based off of posting style and habits and NOT political views) because they tick off all the boxes, but there is still NO way to prove they are unless they say they are.
I mean, somebody could come in here ticking off every troll box there is but all they have to say is "nope not a troll" and then there we go.
I dont really care about marking trolls posts, but what I don't like is how you get moderated for calling somebody a troll. it makes sense, and besides, there are too many people here who DO call people a troll just because they don't agree with what the other person is saying. Its dumb but thats on us to get better i suppose.
This is like saying that the only way you know someone was cheating or lying or something is if they admit it, you don't need to prove intent to claim something is against site rules.
I am part of a sports forum and on that forum if you start talking a bunch of shit about a certain fan base or team you will likely be marked with trolling.
