Lots of people bashed his tactics as being over-the-top but it has definitely worked in my view. Basically, the national cabinet suggested minimum restrictions and states could go higher if they wanted to. He wanted to. Australia as a whole got 8 new cases overnight, (we're around 6.6k total confirmed), and Victoria is the 2nd highest state here.
