Well, this wasn't quite what we expected when we started planning for this throughout the passed year but our "big" day came and despite initially deciding to put it off we went through with it instead. Initially we had planned the wedding to be held in the Athens Botanical Garden, catered, with all the fixings of course. Tonight however, Genny and I were married in our very own apartment by a coworker who just so happened to be ordained to perform the ceremony. This was pretty lucky since it would have probably been difficult, or really expensive, if I didn't know him from my essential job. Rather than the gathering of friends and family, we held a responsible distanced ceremony with only our parents in attendance from a respectable distance. My parents don't even live in this state so it sort of sucked seeing them but not being able to physically interact, but I'm glad they were able to make the trip regardless just to witness it. Even though I told them not to drive 3 hours one way to see a 10 minute ceremony and then turn around and leave... but it was their choice.

As always, we just wanted to thank board 8 for existing and bringing us together. Today marks 4 years of us being together (technically a little longer, but we use this as an anniversary because it was the first day we actually met in person four years ago). For those that know us and are curious, we did indeed share a dance in our living room in our wedding attire to Suteki da Ne.
