| Topic | Why does this community get so butthurt when LOZ/FF7 doesn t win? |

This is how the prizes are funded: more traffic = more ad clicks = more money for prizes, and the admins obviously hope some of these visitors stay & become long term members. Every contest rules page even explicitly states that outside groups may influence the outcome. Yet every time when an outsider rally produces a winner that is not associated with LOZ or FF7, this community freaks out and punishes that winner in the next contest, in the most petty way possible. Draven and Undertale I could understand, but even L-Block, from an uncontroversial megahit game, lost to pikachu in the following contest. What exactly is the fun of having LOZ and FF7 win every single contest? Everyone already knows this site has massive fanatical obsessions with those two IPs, and simply reaffirming that every single year wont change the opinions of the gaming majority outside this echo chamber.
