We pay him to be the most informed person in the world on these issues. We give him resources that no other person in the world has access to. He absolutely deserves to be criticized for how he has handled this situation. He doesnt get a pass because I have a smart phone. I cant learn everything Trump has access to in an couple of hours of google research. Not to mention he shapes a good portion of the publics opinions. Not everyone is going to do a google deep dive and form their own opinion. They are going to say hey my president who we have chosen to look after us in these matters says this isnt a big deal, so Im going to take him at his word and go about my life as normal.
