| metroid composite 03/30/20 11:05:59 AM #156: | For what it's worth, I think it might just be harder to play a stable safe game in Battlegrounds than it used to be. The strategy of battlegrounds has changed quite a bit since the dragon patch. If you're going dragons, beasts, or murlocs, you want to tier up to tavern tier 5 very quickly. (Mechs and demons do still exist, and can still hang out on tier 3-4 for a while for safety, but both of them have had their effectiveness reduced quite a bit). Aggressively tiering up is inherently pretty dangerous and can just get your teeth kicked in. In addition, when other people aggressively tier up, and then hit good tier 5 minions right away (they highroll) they end up with these comps with a bunch of tier 5 minions that are going to deal 20 damage to you if they win. All of this together means you're often more vulnerable, and you're simultaneously also more likely to die from 1-2 losses. --- Cats land on their feet. Toast lands peanut butter side down.
