Politically-motivated pork, no. I'm retired, supplement my Social Security with little teaching gigs. I could surely use an extra thousand, but the inevitable devaluing of the dollar will eat that up in no time, and I fear the poverty we will be plunged into will be worse than the virus. All three of us are on the same Titanic sadly. I'm 65, diabetic, and lost a leg three years ago to a 45 year dormant mrsa infection from an old injury in 1972. The lopsided priorities of the last 5 decades by our government is really the cause of all of this misery. All the bailouts that never should have happened, the lack of action on critical issues, the people not paying attention to the corruption in Washington, and really our leaders not listening to the people. I guess we all made this mess. I wanted a better world for my grandson. I wanted "Star Trek" and got "The Walking Dead". I think I may have just been forced to grow up and am ready to listen to ideas to make things better.
