If infection becomes truly widespread, 10% population losses amid a nation of 323 million people translates into tens of millions. Do you really find such figures acceptable? Do you really think this is business as usual? It's 10% for one area not everywhere. You guys keep bending and misreading the data to create things not being said. What for, more panic hoarding? Bigger refund checks? I wouldn't put it that bluntly. If you want to shut down your life and hide in the basement for a whole summer over what 'might' happen then who am I to stop you? If the media spent more time saying most people who get it will feel like crap for a week or two and be fine instead of promoting the death toll (worldwide of course, bigger numbers mean more viewers) there'd be a lot less stress and anxiety.
