Personally, the Sun Crusher is a serious case a power creep, and it outright destroyed any chance the future directors/writers had of exploring what sort of government was established by the leaders of the Rebellion. That was a bad choice from the very outset imo. If I had to put it in the original 6, it would probably be middle of the pack. Not great, but not egregiously bad. In a lot of ways I actually think 8 is a better movie, but it basically destroyed any chance of the trilogy having a cohesive story line. And everything about Canto Bight is complete fucking garbage. And Rose crashing into Finn was dumb af. And them trusting a random guy they met in jail was dumb af. --- <insert sig here> ... Copied to Clipboard! |
