| Cruddy_horse 03/27/20 4:59:33 PM #18: | Every community has bad apples(although Furries seem to have more I will admit), this is known, yeah the community has more than it's fair share of shitty people that need to be locked up but you could say the same about Anime fans. The fandom is also very fractured where you have people who just have an interest in the art and general idea of a community then you have the extremist creeps/Neckbeards who use the fandom as an excuse to shove all their fetishes or weirdness into something, act like it's what the fandoms about and proudly display this to others and that's what starts the hate. Obviously the sensible ones hate the creeps and just want to be left alone. I've known plenty of people that hate furries but then they make friends with one of the more normal ones and they realize they were being stupid and relaxed their views, maybe even becoming one themselves. Obvisouly no-one wants to be mocked for their hobbies, everyone here is quick to dismiss the media for blaming Video games for violent crimes because the perpetrator played them, so why are you harassing furries for similar reasons? ...
