I reckon 90% of fortnite's 13 year old playerbase doesn't even know what a gamefaqs is, and the remaining 10% don't care

It's certainly not impossible that a Fornite rally happens, if only due to sheer size of playerbase ala Draven. Nowadays though I feel a successful rally requires a passionate playerbase that are already highly integrated into the online gaming community. A LOT of people play Fornite, but I don't think it has the right kind of fanbase. Most fortnite players play fortnite and literally nothing else, having 0 investment in the gaming community and don't seek any validation from us. Why would they care if their game won on a boomer site?

Personally, taking a cursory glance over the entrants, I think the games most likely to stage a successful rally are:

- Witcher 3 (devs are known for egging their fans on)
- Smash Ultimate (literally all it would take is a couple of tweets from pros to completely overrun this site's piddly votals)
- Undertale again
- Maybe Overwatch
- A weeb game with a very passionate tumblr-esque fanbase like FE3H or KHIII

Thing is, Witcher and Smash are already naturally strong games that are the favorites to make it out of their divisions, so it wouldn't wreck too many brackets if those rallies happen.
