| Ruddager 03/26/20 9:25:14 AM #39: | You don't actually HAVE to recruit 3 from islands, it's just a way to control who your 3rd, 4th, and 5th villagers are. The "plot" will still progress you'll just get random villagers in the slots that you didn't specifically recruit someone for. Also as soon as you plot out the next 3 houses you stop being able to meet villagers on islands until after your 6th villager joins so if you really want certain villagers do a bunch of islands before you put down the 3 houses ...
