I assume the city of Las Vegas will force the event organizers to shut it down, but if it went on as planned, we're talking about 180k nearly naked people sweating and breathing all over each other. It would make that Florida beach during spring break look like social isolation done right. The organizers are likely waiting to be forced to cancel. My understanding with a lot of these big events is due to how the contracts are done there can be a significant financial penalty for an event to cancel itself but the penalty goes away if the event is forced to cancel. --- Link isn't the only one who kicks ass.
