I spoke to a coworker who does a lot of cat/kitten rescue work, and she had some advice *Keep the kitten clean, dry, and warm - she suggested cutting small holes in the toe of a clean sock, sliding it over the hindquarters, and then cutting more at the other end to create a small jumper/onesie that still lets the mom clean/groom the kitten *She didn't think the injury came from mom - from her experience animals that get aggressive with their young nibble on extremities first *Keep the kittens together, but if you see them roughhousing (unlikely at this young age) separate them a bit so the stitches don't tear Also, to echo 35. set up a GoFundMe - I'm sure you'd get support!
