FFVIII: Eyes on Me When I talk about FFVIII's outstanding cinematic presentation and how Square almost treated it like they were making a Hollywood blockbuster, this is the sort of thing I'm talking about. This was the first time the series attempted a vocal song, and it blew me away. I would watch the Ragnarok scene over and over again just to hear this song. I even recorded it with a tape recorder so I could hear it on demand (this was back in the days of dial-up when downloading a song of this length took like 30 minutes on Napster). I'll always hold a special place for this one in my heart. Bring them on, especially if you're going to post stuff like this! Dark Messenger is absolutely one of my favorite special boss themes in the series. I love the organ and the clapping at the beginning, and then it gets even better once the song kicks into high gear. This song always gets me pumped up. Lucavi000 posted...
