I did want to say I think Kris Statlander's alien gimmick is kind of dumb and I don't really get it. I like some of the cute stuff like the nose boop, but for the most part I don't really get it and it doesn't do a whole lot for me. I feel like I would be more into it if she had gone all out with the alien thing but she just sort of has awkward facepaint. I dunno. I'm not really sold on her. And I can see why JR wouldn't be sold on her either, because no matter what Excalibur says, I'm still having a hard time buying into Statlander and her gimmick. On the flipside, they had Abaddon on AEW Dark against against Hikaru Shida who is supposed to be an undead wrestler and the facepaint and her mannerisms all reflected that and it was a legitimately fun match too.
