People are posting a photo from a 2017 RB book of Peridot not being interested in fusing as "proof", though I do take issue with the idea that fusion is inherently meant to be a sexual or romantic act. I have a feeling that not all minds on the team are in the same boat on this, but I also don't think that they would be willing to make a statement to roll it back now that the can of worms has been opened, either.
