I had previously heard the Brawl version of this, but I think I only encountered the original version in BOST. Needless to say, I was very impressed. (I actually prefer the Brawl version, believe it or not!) I love the slow build of this song its taking its time, but its not fucking around. It knows its going to beat you down. Does anyone remember when I said that Route 3 was as high as it was because of like three notes? What catapults this song into godlike tiers is 1:55. You know the part. Its one of my favorite moments in any song.

Temporal Tower straight up gives me chills. The atmosphere it evokes is so strong, so present in every note that Im left in awe. Although Sky Tower placed higher, Temporal Tower is probably my favorite occurrence of the Mystery Dungeon chimes/bells.

Fun fact: Id heard this song before the topic, but I hadnt considered it a 10 until I listened through everything. It was originally an 8.5, then it got bumped to a 10. For a brief moment, it was even number one.
