I tried reading up to about chapter 200 but I still am not hooked, what I have read so far was more so forcing myself. Then he actively dislikes most other pop shonen. I watched like 100 eps of the anime. The sense of adventure is top notch IMO, the character stories are decent, the fights are garbage of the highest degree, and the pacing is atrocious.
