I'm pretty happy my old character still exists (level 31 marauder) because I remember it being pretty boring at first. Looks like I'm just before the MSQ that unlocks job quests. Seems I overleveled quite a bit. It's a shame that I can't use the free trial since I previously paid for stormblood despite not reaching level 35. Oh well, 15 bucks isn't that much. Also finally went through the minor amount of effort to use my PS4 controller on PC. Should have done this ages ago. Just needed to disable it's audio and mic which took like 2 minutes to figure out. Now I don't have to use my janky freelook autohotkey script to play FF14 without pulling out my hair (seriously why isn't right click a toggle by default). --- I'm ninja (you can't see me) ...
