This has to do with someone who is apologizing for what he feels he has done wrong, asking for at least a temporary allowance onto your server just for the contest, and is willing to accept his ban if he does something wrong during the temporary allowance. That is the least he is asking for. He isn't asking for understanding, forgiveness, and a total unban right now.
