Yeah, imagine thinking he's smug because he doesn't want to take a small supporting role over being one of the central characters in his own movie. We're not talking about a struggling actor trying to get his foot in the door in Hollywood. We're talking about a dude who was a legit box office draw a couple decades ago and wants to get back into the mix. Maybe he doesn't want to slowly rebuild his career. Maybe he wants to test the market and his brand and see what his worth is to see if he should even bother pursuing this any further.
