They're not uncommon at all, though the further north you go the fewer bugs you get.

-no air conditioning
Unnecessary in the northern parts.

-bathrooms cost money to use
Depends on where you go.

-water costs money in restaurants, no refills, no ice
Not true, tap water is usually free and you do get ice. No free refills is true though.

-no clothes dryers
What? This is the strangest one on the list lol

-no handicapped accessibility
I guess this is true for the old/medieval parts of cities. Modern parts are plenty accessible though.

-gas, drivers licenses are too expensive for the average person to drive
More expensive than USA, yes. Too expensive for the average person, no.

-taxes for radios and tvs
My country got rid of them decades ago, not sure about the rest of Europe.

-everything in constant disrepair
