Probably because at no point did I ever find myself giving a damn about the Forward units the season focused too much attention on. Subaru, Teana, Caro, and shota shit. Nanoha and crew are where its at. I think the main flaw with StrikerS was that it tried to do too much and develop too many characters and sideplots. If they focused more on Nanoha and the main crew and didn't do as much with the rookies, that would have been fine. Or if they went the opposite direction and focused more on building the rookies up as the next generation and started phasing Nanoha out a bit (which they ended up doing in ViVid anyways) then that would have been fine too. But it ended up in this awkward middle ground where the rookies weren't developed enough, but like you said, they still took up noticeable screentime from Nanoha and the main story. Speaking of that next generation... are you going to watch Nanoha ViVid to finish the TV series at some point? You already know some of the characters from when you watched ViVid Strike before you even knew it was a spin-off, but watching ViVid gets you more background info on them, specifically Vivio and Einhart. Plus you get to see more of Nanoha and Fate off-duty doing cute housewife things. Spidey5 posted... Also not a big fan of all the world politics of a planet I've never heard of before. What happened to Earth? Nanoha relocated to Midchilda, which also happens to be Fate's home planet, sometime between A's and StrikerS as part of her job with the TSAB.
