If he had wanted to stop/hurt Trump, he should have stayed as a Republican in 2018 and challenged Trump in their own party and when that failed, he should run as a conservative independent to sap votes from Trump. Unlike anyone else who might have tried, Bloomberg's wealth might have actually gotten him somewhere with those tactics and if all he wanted to do was stop Trump, that would have been the best way to do it. lolwut? No, none of that would work.
