In addition, Trump is the only republican candidate, so he automatiially gets all the delegates. The democrats have to get 15% or more of a district to get them, and they can be split up. If contested then the delegates can vote for whoever they want. It's certainly more complicated which is going to cause many people to make mistakes. Finally, horribly, your choice (Dem or Rep) is PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE that anyone can look up for 60 days after the election. So not only are you forced to choose a side (Even if your a moderate and don't consider yourself a dem or rep) but now everyone is going to know what side you chose as well.
