Eh, Melee stans rejected Brawl from the start. The game still very nearly won the contest anyway. But there was plenty of Brawl talk for a long time on B8. People held tournaments, discussed tiers, argued about whether Melee or Brawl was better, etc. Smash 4 is what made Brawl go away. like yeah people still make BotW topics here but they've been people playing it for the first time three years later most people who wanted Brawl got it almost immediately --- ...
