I'm glad the naysayers who were going around saying it wasn't serious were ignored.

Statiscally speaking, on the infected to death ration outside of China, the virus is not very impressive. All it do is it makes you more vulnerable to flu by distracting your immue system and poking little holes in your lungs.

However, if we put fear and mass hysteria into the equation, it will makes the virus about 20 times more potent since people will then overwhelm their hospitals, causing healthcare networks to collapse. Like what had happened in China. People are stupid overall.
