This isnt inherently a bad thing, but in general it makes me feel less connected to the song. It almost feels like its taking the easy route with pushing my emotional buttons. 114. Pokmon Gold/Silver/Crystal - Rival Battle Theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjGgfZ8JkyA Zigzagoon Junichi Masuda Slight spoiler: I was impressed by some of the GSC songs in this. This, however, wasnt one of them. It feels pretty firmly in that Pokemon battle theme archetype I mentioned before.
