Topic	Total War: Three Kingdoms -- is it worth $35~?

I guess I'm really asking how it compares to the other total war games, though. The only other ones I've played are medieval II, which I only played enough to kind of skim the surface. And Warhammer 1&2, which I have never even played all the way through a proper battle on. I do want to get into a TW game, but I hear Medieval II's main appeal is the modding community, and ATM I feel more interested in a history-based game than fantasy.
