I'm also interested to see how using spears would be, too...although I'm not sure if you can keep those in the inventory. Sometimes I stumble on battles and pick up slain foes' spears, but they're always "unholstered" by default. Anyway, just finished Johanka's quest with a good ending. Nicodemus gave a Chamomile Brew recipe as thanks, plus invited her and Matthias to Pribyslavitz.
