Dating a single parent is a big leap that not everybody can do. It's definitely not something to ever be taken lightly. You have to understand going in that their child is their number one priority at all times. And the child shouldn't be "tolerated," which was dude's first mistake, but happily accepted into your life. Maybe it's because I'm around the age where I should have or be starting a family, but I'm not opposed to it in theory.
