He invites people on his podcast because he wants to hear them talk. If you pay attention, he spends much more time listening to his guests than talking to him. Niel was simply aware of what kind of podcast he was on, and did what he had been invited on the set to do. That episode was cringe. Even Joe was literally cringing during it. You could see Joe getting visibly upset with it. And the fact that Neil acted like he wasn't doing anything wrong really put me off. I've seen the other appearances on the show and they weren't nearly that bad. I still like Neil alright and would like to see him back on the show again, but a little less...
