Except 5 is because konami wouldn't let him finish and death stranding is fun despite all logic after chapter 3 . and mgs3 is the peak and didn't have anyone else meddling in it. I wish people would stop this whole "Konami wouldn't let him finish" thing. What was there left to do at that point? He had five years. At that point all that should be left is polish. No amount of polish would have saved that boring map. The game was also extremely fucking polished at release, so what wasn't finished exactly? Then you hear all of the stories about how Kojima nixed Battle Gear for being "too overpowered" and how Kingdom of the Flies was cut early in development to not take away from the Venom Snake twist. And that's not even getting into the awful awful story that is 100% Kojima. Konami is not without fault, I'm sure, but I wish people would stop acting like MGS V's missteps were all the fault of upper management at Konami (something that Kojima was a part of as a VICE PRESIDENT of the company) --- The personal is the political is a totalitarian progressive decree that I reject entirely. ...
