I had yesterday off, quite enjoyed it, went grocery shopping in the evening, then came home to find that my apartment flooded in the hour and a half I was gone. Relatively minor, with no serious damage to any of our stuff (an ikea bookcase that will probably not be worth saving when we move out of here), but a huge hassle to clean up and the laminate floor is going to have to be replaced at some point. I'd prefer boredom to that.
