Yes, Christians do not run America. They do however have a very significant impact on how it is run and have since before we existed as a nation.

To criticize something you do need some level of familiarity. Like take for instance the religion I mentioned earlier. I could not criticize Zoroastrianism because my knowledge of it consists of that it still exists, it was a religion of the Persian people and that good and evil are important themes. If asked to come up with an issue about it I would be unable to.

Ive seen people of other faiths criticize Christianity. I have already stated that you dont need to be of a particular religion to bash it. I feel like thats just some BS that gamefaqs users just cooked up right now. And of course if you are going to use an exceedingly obscure religion like Zoroastrianism to make your point, then your point might have some weight. But try using that same logic with some other, more influential and popular religions in America and other parts of the West, and see where that logic takes you.

Finally, yes, Christians are historically an obviously very powerful (but declining) force in America. But they arent the only religion who have influence in America.
