I once saw Nathan Fillion perform on screen, years before the first Uncharted game, and it was better. So I'm not sure why I should care as much about his pixelated counterpart. I joke (kind of), but I will be honest - Nathan Drake is #544 in the mold of Aw Shucks Swashbuckler, a mix of homespun humility and globetrotting devil may care attitude that, honestly, feels old as hell nowadays. I respect that he came 544th and not 5444th, I guess, but I came late to the Uncharted party (after 2 had been out for a couple years), and I find the hype likely overestimated my interest in the game and its characters.
