Though a couple are hurt by the lack of options, like Morty's gym and the 8th gym. The 8th gym did get a little better in HGSS, to its credit. I mean, Morty has two Haunters, and GSC introduces a new Ghost Pokmon. Falkner has two Kanto Pokmon, when he could easily have had a Hoothoot or a Noctowl. Bugsy has only Kanto Pokemon, when it wouldn't have been that much of a challenging upgrade to give him a Ledian or an Ariados or a Yanma or something. Why not give Chuck a Tyrogue or a Hitmontop? Couldn't Jasmine have had a Skarmory? How about giving Pryce a Sneasel? I love the entirety of the Gen II Pokedex, but their availability or lack thereof.
