So a week or so ago, I went to a round table pizza buffet. I was not very impressed over all, and won't be back. Would have rather just gotten my own personal actually.

But thinking back on it, there were a few things that stood out.

First the buffet is only 2 hours long, from 11:30 to 1:30, and it was packed. Every hungry 20-30 something guy and a ton of girls were there. IF a pepporoni pizza got put up (1 in maybe 20 pizzas) it was gone faster then you could blink. Seriously 3 people would get to the pie and it was done before you even knew it.

That made the other parts worse, which was the bad selection of pizzas at this place. Most of them had weird toppings, but ....and hence the title of the post, OVER HALF of them had pineapple on them? Wth? It used to just be ham/pineapple pizzas primarily, and it was rare to see them. Now it was on about 50% of the pizzas that were brought out, with all different toppings as well.

I ended up eating a couple pieces of peporoni and a couple of vegan cheese pizzas, neither of which was very good.

You can't make requests either, so yeah, not even doing that again. In Cali I would go to buffets at a bunch of places (including round table) and it was never like that....in decades. They made requests, and honestly I can't remember ANYONE requesting a pineapple pizza in all that time (It has been like 8 years though).

So I guess the people who like pineapple are superior and stronger or something and are taking over the pizza world.
