It's your choice to restrict your diet so heavily, so it's not really fair to expect people to make special dishes for you if you want do the same for them. Like I said, I love vegetables. But certain things that vegans cut out are basically essential to cooking. it's a real story too, some idiot (not a friend of mine) showed up to a BBQ. We had lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers, and mushrooms... because those are good for grilling with meat. He acted all upset he "couldn't eat with us" because we had no vegan options.
