let's be honest, nobody really knows how well CD-i Link would do. Probably not super great but while meme characters are out of fashion, Zelda is even more in than usual.

Shadow (Final Fantasy VI) - Mid fodder

Would he repeat that nowadays? Hell no, he's the closet thing VI has to a Vincent and I'd expect Shadow to have similarly dropped like a rock. It also hurts him that FFVI characters the few years after that poll were in general not particularly good so him beasting that poll doesn't seem as impressive as it should. I figure nowadays he ranks below Terra/Celes/Locke and the Figaro bros but above everyone else - barring possibly Mog, who's liked for being a Moogle more than he is as a character.

...Looks like what I'd expect. Was considering high fodder but that's poor enough for me to go Mid.

The other question here is if "Ninja Factor" really is a thing and gamefaqs are a bunch of weebs who'll disproportionately vote for ninjas without necessarily caring that much about the characters or their games. Not sure how well that's gonna work in 2020 but Hayabusa hasn't quite died off yet so maybe!
