Would explain why my data folder is literally 92 GB. I thought maybe the official ones would be at least marginally better. Guess I was wrong.

As an aside, I'm reading up further on M.2 drives. I'm wondering why the Intel 660p 1TB is the same price as the Samsung Evo Plus 970 500GB.

I looked on the store page, and didn't see anything that told me the R/W speeds, which is the biggest indicator of underperformance relative to cost. At that cost, a 1TB M.2 for $144 CAD isn't terrible. Not what I want the drive for, though. I want speeds.

The Intel 660p has read/write speeds of 1800MB/s. That's pretty damn low relative to other M.2 drives. Conversely, the Samsung Evo Plus has R/W speeds of 3500/3200.
