| Calwings 01/18/20 5:21:26 PM #124: | The Catgirl Fondler posted... Can honestly say I did not know a Fire Emblem/Shin Megami Tensei crossover game existed. That's what TMS was originally announced as. But then the first trailer dropped, and it looked much closer to a Persona game but with an "idol anime" paintjob and the ghosts of Fire Emblem characters acting as the characters' personas. It turned off a lot of the fans who were expecting a more straightforward crossover, but some (like myself) found the new direction the game went in really endearing and enjoyable. If you're expecting a game that plays like a combination of SMT or FE, then you won't find it. But if you're looking for a new experience that takes elements from both of those franchises but works them into its own unique identity, then TMS is worth trying out. The Switch port (it was originally released on the Wii U when that system was already on its way downhill) came out a couple of days ago and has already sold pretty well.
