It was being crushed by capitalists who had no idea how dangerous the job was and were willing to see monthly turnover, accept workplace deaths, and pay $10/hour for 60 hours/week When even just a few crews unionized in different parts of the country, our pay doubled and hours halved and safety equipment is standard now I would be terrified of a non-unionized police force tbh --- But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them - bring them here and kill them in front of me ~Jesus Christ ...
