I mean, that's not much of a surprise. If she had two "options", and one left her, she's obviously going to choose the other. Same thing most likely would have happened in reverse if her ex said they wouldn't get back together or found someone else. She would have probably be all about you again... Unless she was "cheating" with him. Though, it's possible she wasn't.

I remember dating this guy. And when he broke up with me, he started dating another guy very soon after. He did try to explain to me that they weren't dating before we broke up, though I can't confirm. IIRC, I think they may have worked together. Anyway, it was also hard to really trust him about things afterward. We didn't date or anything, but were still friends. Though, he did try to get back with me. But I'm not the type to date exes. Because you broke up for a reason... Unless they reason was like distance or something where the actual relationship was fine. Also, I can't shake the feeling that he was either cheating, or broke up with me to date the other guy. So, if they did it once, they will most likely do it again...
