Topic	Do people actually like the characters in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story?

Unless you mean Krennic? It's either that or they are mistaking Diego Luna for a white person? Actually Krennic is the only white, male character physically shown in that movie with any importance to the plot aside from Mads. I never saw Rogue One as being a movie where we are necessarily supposed to LIKE the characters though. I felt it was meant to show us these people we don't necessarily like (except maybe the monk/buddy duo) and how they kind of redeem themselves via the sacrifices. It has it's problems for sure but it tried something different compared to the others which I can appreciate. A couple of rewatches have me hold it in a bit higher esteem. And if anything the battle at the end is great. ~~Also Bodhi Rook is an amazing character. Riz Ahmed is like Mendelsohn to me.
