Well, I don't want to spoil/say too much, but I think they did a good job maintaining what made the first season good while developing the key characters more. It's not just a continuation of the first season, which I was really impressed by. That's what impresses me a lot about the show to begin with - I was constantly asking myself through the first season "What can they possibly do next?".
